How you do this? As a Business Controller, you are the financial business partner for management and operational teams at our logistics sites at Maastricht Airport. Over the past period, a solid foundation has been built in Venlo, and this successful approach will now be rolled out and further developed for our sites at Maastricht Airport. You are given the opportunity to help build, professionalise and gradually take on more responsibility. In doing so, you grow alongside the organisation while actively contributing to strengthening our department.

In addition, you ensure control over organisational performance by providing insights through figures, analyses and forecasts. You monitor the financial health of the sites and actively help to improve it. You play a key role in translating financial data into actionable insights, both for day-to-day operations and at a strategic level. You work closely with internal departments and the Shared Service Center and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations. You achieve this by:

• delivering accurate financial reporting and controlling for the sites;
• preparing forecasts and budgets;
• identifying improvement opportunities through detailed analyses of cost structures and operational performance;
• advising on investment decisions and supporting strategic projects;
• optimising processes and performing internal controls.

You bring

• a completed bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration, with 1–2 years of experience in a similar role;
• extensive knowledge of Excel and SAP, and an affinity with IT systems;
• strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• flexibility, particularly during month-end closing;
• the flexibility to work on-site at our Venlo office one day per week;
