Manager Airfreight Operations

Machelen, Brucargo

As Manager Operations & Gateway you are responsible for the operational success of our Airfeight activities in Belgium.  You are part of our dynamic team in Machelen and manage a team of 35 people. You will report to the Airfreight Director.

Responsibilities:

- Steering and supporting our operational teams as a good people manager
- Responsibility for the financial targets
- Achieving the objectives and set KPI's
- Manage & underwrite monthly closings
- Follow up of special & exceptional shipments
- Daily monitoring of outgoing and incoming shipments
- Expand cooperation with airlines
- Providing information & advice to customers and employees

Profile

- Airfreight has no secrets for you
- You have experience in managing a team
- You are stress resistant, result oriented & have a sense of initiative
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- You are strong in coaching, guiding, and training of new employees
- You have a clear vision
- You speak fluent Dutch & English, French is a big plus
