OCL Operative

Wythenshawe

Monday-Friday -Rotating weekly Shifts 7.00-3.30/9.00-5.30

At DSV, every role plays a part in keeping supply chains moving. As an OCL Operative, you will be at the heart of our daily operations, helping to coordinate communication between warehouse, transport, and depot teams to ensure customer deliveries and shipments run smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and collaborating with different departments to keep goods moving efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Manage operational email inboxes and respond to customer and internal enquiries
• Liaise with warehouse teams regarding stock check requests and inventory queries
• Work closely with transport teams to resolve delivery queries and arrange delivery booking slots
• Coordinate export shipment activities with relevant depots and operational teams
• Monitor transport arrivals and support the smooth flow of daily operations
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems
• Support colleagues across the wider operation to deliver excellent service standards

About You

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to prioritise workload and remain organised in a busy operational environment
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks
• A proactive and team-oriented approach
• Previous logistics, transport, warehouse administration, or customer service experience would be beneficial, but not essential
