Key Responsibilities

  • Profile existing C&D accounts and identify a portfolio with the potential to grow
  • Grow Portfolio of category C & D existing accounts into category A & B
  • Reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and social media to generate leads and sales opportunities
  • Qualify leads by assessing customer needs and determining their potential to convert into sales.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain and manage a sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement lead generation strategies.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Key Tasks

Lead Generation

Actively seek out new sales opportunities by researching potential clients, networking, and utilising various lead generation methods.

Cold Calling

Reach out to prospective customers through phone calls and emails to introduce products or services and gauge interest.

Qualifying Leads

Assess the needs and potential of leads to determine their suitability for the company's offerings.

Sales Presentations

Conduct virtual presentations or demonstrations of products or services to prospective clients to showcase value. Prepare and deliver tailored solutions to address the specific needs of potential customers.

Pipeline Management

Use MS Dynamics to track and manage sales activities, leads, and customer interactions effectively.

Relationship Building

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service to encourage loyalty and repeat business.

 

Foster strong relationships with your client’s, and internal stakeholders to facilitate delivery of operational excellence.

Responsible for review and response of NPS and approving scores within your client portfolio.

Sales Reporting

Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance against targets, providing insights to management.

Portfolio development

Build strong relationships with customer portfolio with the aim grow your customers to category A and B. 

Continuous Learning

Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to improve effectiveness and adapt to changes.

Price negotiation

Present and negotiate price adjustments

 

Experience

 

Educational Background

GCSE, English Language and Maths grade 4 or above

GCSE Business Studies grade 5 or above (preferred but not essential)

 A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred not essential)

Placements or Part-time Jobs

Previous placements or part-time positions in sales, customer service, or retail can be beneficial.

experience in roles that involve direct customer interaction can demonstrate communication skills and customer focus.

Basic Sales Knowledge

Familiarity with sales concepts or techniques, gained through coursework or self-study.

Communication Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; experience in roles that require these skills can be advantageous.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Experience working in teams or collaborative environments, as sales often involves working closely with colleagues.

Computer Proficiency

Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
