DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Invoicing in Sydney.

 

If you’re looking to start or grow your career in finance within the logistics industry, this is a great opportunity to join the DSV team. This role supports the Sydney branch with accurate and timely financial processing, including issuing customer invoices (AR) and handling supplier invoices (AP).

 

Your typical day at DSV:

  • Support the team in issuing accurate AR invoices and process AP invoices for service providers and intercompany partners.
  • Validate charges and complete auto‑rating to prepare invoices for customers and overseas offices.
  • File and organise key commercial documents such as invoices, packing lists, DOs, and release confirmations.
  • Manage inbox communications to ensure timely responses and effective coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer and supplier invoice queries while following local and global finance policies.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

 

About you:

  • You have a basic understanding of revenue, costs, and profit, and are keen to learn how these apply in customer invoicing.
  • You’re detail‑focused, reliable, and interested in developing your skills in operational finance within the freight forwarding industry.
  • You follow processes well and enjoy working as part of a team to support accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • You take initiative, own your tasks, and raise any issues that could impact timelines, customers, or financial accuracy.
  • You’re adaptable, resilient, and excited to grow your career in a fast‑paced, global business environment.
