DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Air in Melbourne.

This position is responsible for arranging the transportation and shipment of Import Air consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing, and verifying required documents and Cargowise One data in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

Your typical day at DSV:

• Work together with Import Air team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered.•    Carry out import workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas.
• Ability to problem solve Import Air issues with a range of stakeholders including but not to limited: airlines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
• Plan and prioritize Import shipments from the Import Workbenches in order to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
• Support the Senior Team Lead & Manager, Airfreight with day-to-day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required.

• You have relevant industry knowledge with at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
