DSV is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the DSV team. DSV will need this position to lead, design and develop supply chain systems solutions and integration for operational efficiency. This position requires an individual who will thrive in problem-solving roles. The Director of Supply Chain Systems and Analytics is responsible for strategic planning of information technology and analytics for the organization, as well as for the implementation, maintenance, and efficiency of current systems, tools, applications, and process automation. This position will lead the design and develop supply chain systems solutions and integration for operational efficiency. The Director strives to achieve maximum uptime, reliability and stability in the company’s computer systems and networks. The essence of the role is technology leadership and the Director must be able to guide all parties around the technology plan and path for the company, especially during migrations, implementations, upgrades and system improvements. The Director is a strong leader who can motivate and influence across the organization.





  • Coordinate cross-functional solutions, integration & divestiture efforts in the manufacturing & supply chain space including but not limited to inventory, manufacturing, planning, logistics, procurement.
  • Collaborate at a high level with business management and system users in the ongoing development of business processes, leveraging system capability and ongoing system development.
  • Transform high level business requirements into detailed project plans and requirements documents.
  • Engage with the Information Technology team to implement system enhancements and fixes, requiring understanding of IT terminology, processes, and capabilities.
  • Deliver business insights to assist with data-driven business decisions.
  • Drive solutions from buy in, development, and testing through deployment with excellent communication skills
  • Communicate project objectives, approach, options, and plans to global audiences with confidence.
  • Support global user community in a wide range of support activities such as issue resolution, troubleshooting, system enhancements, report development, system setups and configuration, and ongoing training activities.
  • Develop technology strategies and roadmaps in support of overall business strategy
  • Research, plan and design technology, processes and process improvement for the company
  • Identify operating needs and gaps and direct the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs and software
  • Direct, plan and manage the information systems policies
  • Plan and administer the department including staffing, developing and managing personnel, and specifying and sourcing facilities, hardware and software
  • Plan, administer and control the information systems resources and budget
  • Maintain knowledge of system developments to assure that new developments are incorporated in future systems of the business
  • Oversee the work of system administration and network personnel (manage and maintain licenses, information systems, desktop support and helpdesk, and data integrity).
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to direct reports
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Hire and train new employees



  • Performs other related duties as assigned





  • Manages a team of 10 professionals including analysts, support/help desk, application specialists, coordinators, project manager, process controller.



Education and/or Experience

  • 10+ years of experience leading a systems, analytics or Hi-Tech organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and industry work experience
  • Solid experience leading all phases of an implementation lifecycle
  • ERP and MRP software and processes knowledge
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Strong project management skills with excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in developing, implementing and supporting business critical solutions
  • Strong senior leadership skills with ability to develop second tier leaders
  • Must have 360° view to resource and scale technology platforms for the company



  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of systems and their specifications
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
  • Experience in controlling information technology budgets
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proven self-starter with strategic mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills


Computer Skills

  • Solid knowledge of systems and applications such as Python, R, and Power BI
  • Experience with development software
  • Experience with ERP’s (SAP, Oracle, etc.) or Inventory Systems (WMS, Purchasing Software)
  • Excellent to Advanced level in Excel and Visual Basics in the Microsoft Office Suite
