IT Specialist – EDI & API Support

IT Specialist focused on integration support (EDI/API) and platform operations, responsible for ensuring stability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of integration flows between internal and external systems. This role operates in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud) providing 2nd and 3rd level support.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for integration flows and platforms
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI/API integration issues
• Perform map updates and fixes (Sterling / ITX)
• Configure communication protocols such as AS2 and SFTP
• Support platforms across on-premise and cloud environments
• Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to resolve integration issues
• Ensure stability, performance, and quality of integration processes

Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of middleware tools (Sterling Integrator, IBM API Connect)
• Technical knowledge of: SQL, Linux, XSLT, Scripting
• Programming/scripting languages: Python, Bash, Groovy
• Experience with Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence)
• Knowledge of DevOps, ArgoCD, and cloud platforms (nice to have)
• Strong communication skills

Minimum Work Experience

• +3 years of experience in integration support / middleware / IT platforms
• Hands-on experience with EDI/API integrations
• Experience in technical troubleshooting and support (L2/L3)
• Experience working in global or corporate environments (preferred)
