IT Specialist – Transport Solutions Systems (Precision)

The IT Specialist – Transport Solutions Systems (Precision) is responsible for supporting and coordinating enhancements, service requests, and production releases for QAD Precision, DSV's label management solution used in outbound logistics.

This role works as the bridge between business stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring that system changes are correctly designed, tested, documented, and deployed while maintaining compliance with DSV standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage assigned change requests from intake through production deployment.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for external vendors.
• Coordinate vendors throughout the development and delivery process.
• Validate delivered solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Create and execute functional test scenarios.
• Analyze test results and provide release recommendations.
• Support production deployments and post-release activities.
• Ensure all changes comply with DSV quality and governance standards.
• Maintain complete technical and functional documentation.
• Monitor risks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors in a global environment.

Education & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting business applications and coordinating system changes.
• Knowledge of software testing, release management, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced English (B2+).
• Experience with logistics, WMS, TMS, or supply chain applications is preferred.

Minimum Work Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in IT Application Support, IT Service Delivery, or similar roles.
• Experience coordinating software changes with third-party vendors.
• Experience performing functional testing and validating system enhancements.
• Experience documenting technical or functional changes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international environment.
