Senior IT Specialist, SAP S/4HANA FICO consultant

Main Summary

We are looking for a Senior IT Specialist – SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Consultant to join our ERP Finance – Record to Report team within Group Applications, Global IT. This role is part of our ongoing S/4HANA transformation journey and focuses on delivering scalable SAP FI/CO solutions, supporting global rollouts, and continuously improving finance processes across the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise and solution recommendations within SAP FI/CO, ensuring alignment with business requirements and DSV template standards.
• Configure SAP FI/CO modules and support end-to-end implementation activities.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design, requirement, and technical documentation.
• Analyze gaps and assess impacts in existing finance business processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP teams to design, test, implement, train, and deploy solutions.
• Ensure functional support for SAP FI/CO modules in a global production environment.
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address complex financial and technical challenges.
• Participate in global rollout projects and support continuous system improvements.
• Drive workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, and end-user training activities.

Education and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
• Strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, including configuration and support
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (preferred 2+ years of experience)
• Understanding of end-to-end finance business processes
• Experience in writing functional and technical documentation
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering workshops and training sessions
• Advanced English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Minimal Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant
• Experience in global SAP ERP implementations and rollout projects
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable
• Experience working in multinational or complex matrix organizations is a plus
• Previous involvement in finance transformation or ERP upgrade projects preferred
