ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Know, understand and follow DSV’s quality system, internal policies and procedures
- Achieve customer satisfaction by providing error/defect free product
- Perform the assigned activities within the scope of quality required.
- Responsible for the proper storing of material in the appropriate locations.
- Responsible for following materials in FIFO
- Follow instructions or directions from management
- Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
- Report any process anomaly to the supervisor
- Report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor
- Report any operating supply shortages to the supervisor
- Communicate continuous improvements and suggestions to management
- Use all safety equipment required at all times
- Ensure that all equipment and working area is clean and stored in its proper place at the end of the shift
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Ability to lift boxes weighting up to 60 pounds
- Responsible to maintain documents that required by both procedure and Management
- Perform shipping and receiving operations when required.
- Provides assistance in troubleshooting and assists in the training of new employees
- Ensures timely & accurate completion of tasks and proactively plans for future projects
- Coordinates and assigns work to other employees ensuring equitable distribution & attention to schedules
- Ensure the equipment or tools are good to use, not past due maintenance or calibration
- Ensure accuracy of Customer and DSV materials
- Ensure work area is neat, clean and ESD safe at all times
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in the English language and written
- Good communication skill
- Possess basic computer skills
- Consistent, Responsible and Dependable.
- Possibility of working various shifts to meet operational/ job function requirements
- Willingness to learn and broaden job Function knowledge.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position may require standing and walking for up to 50% of the time.
