As a contract & facility manager, you combine the best of both worlds: you develop and implement strategic facility management concepts and manage procurement contracts for categories such as facility services, energy, temporary staff, and packaging materials. You’re on it.

How do you do this? You are responsible for developing and executing the facility management strategy, standardizing maintenance methods, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations such as NEN 2667 and NEN 3140. Additionally, you manage procurement processes, from initiating tenders to negotiating and documenting contracts with suppliers. You achieve this by:

• developing a multi-year maintenance plan and budgeting;
• implementing new tools and systems in procurement and facility management;
• negotiating one-off contracts for automation projects;
• drafting framework agreements for the aforementioned categories;
• developing and executing an energy procurement strategy in line with DSV Energy.

Your team stands out at DSV for its innovative approach and commitment to continuous improvement. You work closely with various departments to ensure the highest quality of service and business continuity. For this, you collaborate closely with your facility colleagues David and Jelle. You also interact daily with your procurement colleagues across the country.

You bring

• demonstrable experience in procurement and facility management;
• seniority to challenge our facility managers and business support managers;
• proficiency in Dutch and English;
• knowledge and experience with NEN standards (including NEN 2767 and NEN 3140), as well as FMIS systems such as Planon, TopDesk, or similar;
• ability to organize and monitor installation inspections at a national level;
• willingness to travel, as you have a national role and will frequently visit Venlo, 's Heerenberg, Moerdijk, and other locations.
