Supporting and taking the pressure off our internal colleagues when it comes to customs matters: you’re on it.

 
How you do this? You will be responsible for ensuring that customs documentation and certificates for our export and import shipments to our domestic and international customers are accurate and submitted on time, with a focus on compliance. You will be in daily contact with customs authorities, shipping lines, carriers and customers. You will ensure that quality is maintained, assessed and improved. You will achieve this by:

•    checking customs documents in advance and retrospectively, and following them up;
•    various other checks to ensure quality and compliance with the law;
•    providing proactive advice and support to colleagues regarding customs formalities;
•    maintaining contact with customers, internal departments and customs.

You bring
•    a Customs Declarant qualification (EVO/Fenex);
•    experience in a similar role;
•    proficiency in Dutch and English.
