Time Type: Full Time
Move forward as Learning & Development Specialist at DSV in Moerdijk
Would you like to contribute to the development of people and teams within an international organisation? In this role, you translate development needs into impactful learning solutions and help colleagues grow in a dynamic logistics environment.
You get it done
Within the People & Organisation department, you work on developing talent and leadership. With your expertise, you contribute to a strong learning culture and support colleagues in their continuous development: you’re on it.
How you do this? By working together with P&O Business Partners and the Cluster L&D Lead to translate learning and development needs into effective programmes and initiatives that contribute to the organisation’s objectives in the Netherlands. You analyse development needs across various divisions, locations and teams, identify the skills and competencies to be developed, and translate these insights into concrete L&D plans using both global and local offline and online programmes. In this role, you work closely with stakeholders from the business to determine which development initiatives are needed to enable employees, teams and leaders to grow further.
In addition, you are responsible for the implementation and delivery of impactful learning solutions, such as leadership programmes and skills training, delivered in-house, digitally and through external partners. You contribute to talent and leadership development by implementing central talent programmes, advising P&O Business Partners during development discussions and playing a role in succession planning. You also ensure the efficient organisation of training and development activities, including planning, communication, LMS reporting and monitoring learning effectiveness, while continuously looking for opportunities to optimise programmes and stimulate a strong learning culture within the organisation. You achieve this by:
- analysing development needs and translating insights into concrete L&D plans for the Dutch organisation;
- implementing and facilitating learning solutions, such as leadership programmes, skills training and trainee programmes;
- supporting talent and leadership development, including supporting succession planning and assisting P&O Business Partners with development discussions and career paths where necessary.
Your team stands out within DSV by the strong collaboration between P&O and the business, where we take a practical and hands-on approach to developing talent and leadership within the organisation.
