In a dynamic, international organisation where no two days are the same, you will truly get to know the world of logistics and make a direct contribution to our operations and development: you’re on it.

How you do this? During the two- to three-year traineeship, you will have the unique opportunity to get to know DSV inside and out. You will start in a fully-fledged role with clear tasks and responsibilities, while also contributing to a variety of strategic projects. You will work across several key departments within our organisation, including Warehouse Operations, Freight Management, commercial teams, Facility Management, Engineering and strategic management.

By rotating between different departments, you will develop a broad perspective on the logistics chain and discover where your strengths and ambitions are best realised. Each role offers the opportunity to add value, identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions.

The Game Changer Programme is part of your traineeship. During seven training days, you will work on your personal leadership. The finale? A Dragon’s Den–style pitch to the Management Team, where you present your ideas and insights.

This will allow you to build a strong foundation for a future leadership role within our international organisation. You achieve this by:

• carrying out challenging assignments that contribute to the development of DSV;
• setting up and implementing your own initiatives, giving you a clear voice in the role you will shape;
• working with and learning from experienced (senior) managers who prioritise your development.

Together with your team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from different departments, with a shared focus on growth and development. You will start together with six to eight other trainees, creating an energetic and engaging group dynamic in which you support and challenge one another.

Within this environment, you will have plenty of room to contribute ideas, take initiative and develop both professionally and personally. From day one, you will build a strong network within DSV and lay the foundation for a successful career.

You bring

• a recently completed HBO or university degree, with strong motivation to work in logistics;
• an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, with the drive to spot opportunities, take initiative and continuously develop yourself;
• strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with colleagues at all levels, inspire them with your ideas and bring them along in your vision;
• fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• a flexible attitude and willingness to work at different locations across the Netherlands.
