Move forward as Security Manager at DSV in Moerdijk
You are a security manager who takes ownership, keeps an overview and likes to work in an international logistics environment. At DSV in Moerdijk, we are looking for a Security Manager who is responsible for all security issues at our location and actively contributes to a safe, compliant and future-oriented operation.

You get it done

As a security manager, you will ensure that our location in Moerdijk meets all internal and external security standards. You are the point of contact for security within the operation and work together with site management, facility management, colleagues, customers and external partners on a daily basis: you contribute to it. 

How do you do this? You constantly switch between operation, policy and improvement. You keep an overview, set priorities and know how to take others along in the importance of security within a logistics environment. You can achieve this by:

·    monitoring and improving facility and transport security at the location;
·    managing, maintaining and optimising security systems such as CCTV, access control and intrusion systems;
·    coordinating and managing local Site Security Officers and external security services;
·    conducting and supervising internal and external audits, including customer and TAPA audits;
·    investigating incidents and taking preventive and corrective action.

You bring

·    Proven experience in a security function, preferably within a logistical, industrial or complex operational environment;
·    knowledge of security processes, relevant laws and regulations and modern security systems;
·    experience with audits, incident investigation and risk management;
·    strong communication skills and persuasiveness;
·    a structured, independent and proactive working style;
·    good command of the English language; Knowledge of TAPA standards is an advantage.
