The Business Technology team helps our organization to take data-driven decisions, enabling DSV to grow and innovate in the dynamic world of transport and logistics. You're on it. 

How you do this? As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced data models and data flows. You manage and extend master data, striving for optimal performance and accuracy in report developments. You work closely with department heads and project leaders and are familiar with existing data applications such as BI technologies MS SQL Server, PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApps to create innovative solutions.

You get this done by:

• analysing business requirements and alignment with stakeholders;
• developing robust data flows and data warehouses;
• performing technical assessments for optimal report performance;
• manage and extend master data with precision;
• creating comprehensive documentation and innovative BI solutions.

Your team stands out within DSV for their expertise in business intelligence, optimizing WMS applications, and other logistics applications, making them a crucial player in improving logistics processes within DSV. Their ability to be customer-focused and ensure seamless integration distinguishes them as a valuable link within the organization.

You bring

• a bachelor's or master's degree in IT;
• extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server management (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS);
• extensive knowledge of the MS Power platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps);
• strong interest in exploring new BI technologies, applications and development methods;
• leery with exceptional analytical and creative thinking skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and proactive, results-oriented mindset, excellent communication and social skills, and the ability to work independently on project tasks.
