Supervisor Application Engineering
 
For the region South-West Netherlands we are looking for a Supervisor Application Engineering. In this position you will directly lead a team of 10 application specialists who are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our Warehouse Management System and other applications. 
 
Under your leadership, the team analyses process dependencies, defines and builds the corresponding configuration.
Other tasks in your role are proactively initiating and coordinating projects aimed at setting up and optimising the operational (logistics) processes within one or more sites. In a way that an efficient execution of the logistics service can take place in line with specific customer requirements. 
 
As Supervisor Application Engineering, you will report directly to Joost Spoel (Manager Business Support).
You assess and/or initiate logistical process changes for the accounts within the South-West Netherlands region. In your Senior position, you are also active in coordinating the activities and priorities of the application engineering team. In consultation with the operational managers and account management. 
•    Your other tasks as Supervisor Application Engineering are:
•    Determining requirements and specifications and making improvement proposals
•    Executing assigned (sub)projects, discussing the assignment with and reporting progress and results to the client/project leader
•    Supporting and supervising various internal and external audits
•    Implement setups and configurations of new sites and new customers
•    Identify and specify required changes in applications
•    Develop test plans, scenarios and ensure successful implementation
•    Collaborate with soft- and hardware suppliers

•    HBO work and thinking level. Supplemented with a professional logistics training
•    Understanding of RedPrairie/JDA Dispatcher or proven knowledge of other WMSs.
•    Demonstrated work experience in a logistics or warehouse environment 
•    Analytical insight and a preference for optimizing processes
•    Good communication skills in Dutch and English (in word and writing)
•    Familiarity with automation solutions is a plus
