Initiating and coordinating projects aimed at setting up and optimising operational (logistics) processes within one or more sites in Southwest Netherlands: you help make it happen. How do you do this? You manage a team of 8 application specialists and engineers who are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our Warehouse Management System and other applications. Under your leadership, your team analyses process dependencies, defines and builds the corresponding configuration. You achieve this by:

• managing, coaching and developing a team of 8 application specialists and engineers; 
• creating and safeguarding a culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, quality and knowledge sharing within the department; 
• recruiting, selecting, onboarding and guiding new employees and ensuring a future-proof and professional team composition; 
• encouraging continuous improvement of processes, systems and working methods within operations.

You bring

• higher professional education level (HBO). Complemented by a subject-specific logistics course; 
• insight into RedPrairie/JDA Dispatcher or proven knowledge of other WMS systems; 
• demonstrable work experience in a logistics or warehouse environment; 
• good communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
