Move forward as Warehouse Supervisor (Shift) at DSV in Moerdijk
Are you eager to make a crucial contribution to the start-up of a new customer within our 240,000 m² warehouse? As a warehouse supervisor at DSV in Moerdijk, you are responsible for a flawless logistics process. As a warehouse supervisor, you are the driving force behind the design and management of an entirely new, automated process for a new fashion customer. You operate in an advanced warehouse where technology and efficiency come together with human leadership. Every day brings different challenges: one day you monitor the receipt and putaway of goods, the next day you optimise working methods and schedules together with colleagues.

How you do this? You lead a team daily in the morning or evening shift and ensure that the receipt, inspection, processing and storage of goods connect seamlessly. You continuously coordinate with team leaders, internal departments and the customer to keep the process running smoothly. Your visibility on the floor and your direct approach make the difference.

What makes this role special? You are involved from day one in building both the team and the process. The combination of a new customer, smart automation and the space to shape your role yourself offers a unique opportunity to make real impact and develop yourself. You achieve this by:

• guiding sickness absence, conducting performance and development interviews and leading the daily start-up or other staff meetings;
• providing management information based on agreed targets/KPIs;
• contributing to the implementation of our new customer within an automated warehouse;
• actively contributing ideas to improvements;
- you work in a 2 shift system: morning shift: 6am – 3pm and evening shift: 3pm – 12pm.

You bring

- experience in transport and logistics, combined with leadership experience preferably in an automated warehouse;
• good command of the English language;
• experience with warehouse management systems or the drive to master such systems quickly;
• willingness to work in shifts, where working hours may vary.
