Sales Manager

The Role: Your Impact:
 
As a Sales Manager at DSV, you will be responsible for managing a competitive team and selling our comprehensive transportation and logistics services to prospective clients, ranging from fast-growing startups to multinational corporations. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Hunter Mentality: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients through cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building.
  • Customer Solutions: Analyze market trends to design tailored logistics solutions that address customer needs.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability for DSV while delivering high-value solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales pipeline, maintaining accurate data in our CRM system.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Air & Sea operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of new business. 
     
 
What You Bring to the Table
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in freight forwarding, ocean, or air freight sales.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of international shipping regulations, INCO terms, and customs procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
