Summary

The Senior Manager of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company's transportation and logistics business. They will work closely with the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide financial guidance to management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's transportation and logistics business.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Manage the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax laws.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

 

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance role in the transportation and logistics industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $160,000.00 – $205,000.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
