Role: Customs Assistant
Location: Naas, Kildare
Hours: Mon – Fri 0900 – 1730 – Saturday mornings needed (flexi time in lieu)

We are recruiting for a Customs Assistant to support the customs division in the reporting of NON EU goods under DSV control and ensuring customs entries are prepared in line with customs regulations. 

What will you be doing?

•    Liaising with customers to gather correct info for customs purposes
•    Producing costings and quotations. 
•    Liaising with Revenue and ensuring we are compliant with regulations. 
•    Receiving and processing Import documentation 
•    Import Customs Clearances 
•    Export customs declarations 
•    Manage / monitor entries until completion. 

About You

•    Previous experience working within a freight forwarding environment with some exposure to dealing with NON EU countries
•    Enjoy working in a target-driven team environment. 
•    Be self-motivated with drive and initiative. 
•    Be proficient in current software options - Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. 
•    Good verbal, written communication and listening skills.
