Operations Assistant  
Naas, Kildare 
Mon-Fri 09.00-17.30, 37.5 hours per week -Sat cover when needed

To meet customers' requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company.  

 
What will you be doing?

•    Coordinate inbound shipments with Customers, transport providers and internal teams. 
•    Maintain accurate shipment records and database information to ensure full traceability.  
•    Support operational teams with customer-focused solutions. 
•    Receive, process data and transfer data between transport management systems. 
•    Book shipments with Customers.   
•    Communicate efficiently with customers and operations team & Partners to resolve queries   
•    Manage / monitor shipments until completion

About You


•    Experience in a customer service, logistics, transport or operational support role 
•    Enjoy working in a target-driven team environment.  
•    Be self-motivated with drive and initiative.  
•    Be proficient in current software options - Microsoft Excel, Word. 
•    Good verbal, written communication and listening skills.  
•    Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high service standards.
