Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: DSV Road – Naas Cross Dock, Co. Kildare
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 to 16:30

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Cross Dock team in Naas. In this role, you will handle import, export, and domestic cargo efficiently and professionally, ensuring all work is carried out in line with company procedures and statutory requirements. You’ll play a key part in supporting the Supervisor and Warehouse Management in delivering and exceeding customer KPIs, while maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment.

What will you be doing?

• Receive, handle, and dispatch import, export, and domestic cargo safely and efficiently.

• Document cargo conditions on arrival and record discrepancies or damages in line with company procedures.

• Carry out visual inspections and pre-operational checks of mechanical handling equipment, reporting any faults.

• Assess trailer conditions before loading to ensure safety and suitability.

• Complete all relevant administration tasks such as unloading/loading manifests (full training provided).

• Work within Health & Safety regulations and IMDG/ADR requirements (training provided).

• Maintain compliance with company security, quality, and housekeeping standards.

• Support Warehouse Management in achieving contractual customer KPIs.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.

• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and a high level of responsibility.

About You

• Counterbalance Forklift Certification is essential.

• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Able to work on your own initiative and meet tight deadlines.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting customer expectations.

• Previous experience handling international import/export/domestic cargo is an advantage but not essential.
