Role: Warehouse Operative 
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare (DSV Road – Naas Cross Dock) 
Hours: Monday – Friday, Evening Shift 

We are looking for a committed and safety‑focused Warehouse Operative to join our Naas Cross Dock team. In this role, you will support warehouse management in delivering and exceeding customer KPIs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational best practice. You will handle import, export, and domestic cargo efficiently and accurately as part of a fast‑paced logistics environment. 

What will you be doing? 

• Receive, handle, and dispatch import/export/domestic cargo safely and efficiently. 

• Document cargo condition on arrival and record any discrepancies or damages. 

• Complete all required paperwork in line with company procedures. 

• Perform visual inspections and pre‑operational checks on mechanical handling equipment, reporting faults immediately. 

• Assess trailer conditions prior to loading to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose. 

• Complete all relevant administrative processes, including loading/unloading manifests (training provided). 

• Work in compliance with Health & Safety regulations and IMDG/ADR requirements (training provided). 

• Maintain high standards of security, quality, housekeeping, and responsibility within the warehouse. 

• Demonstrate strong punctuality and reliability in daily duties. 

About You 

• Counterbalance Forklift Certification (essential). 

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Able to work on your own initiative and meet tight deadlines. 

• Customer‑focused with the ability to complete tasks efficiently. 

• Previous experience handling international or domestic cargo is an advantage.
