We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the HR function and partner closely with business leaders to support organizational growth and overseas operations.

In this role, you will play a critical strategic part in shaping and executing our people agenda in Taiwan, supporting business growth, organizational effectiveness, and an inclusive company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own people KPI from business strategy in the country division, act as the strategic partner to division leadership team to meet business objectives.
  • Support and consult the leaders in managing transformations and people management topics, fostering people engagement.
  • Leverage HR systems, analytics, and people data to generate insights, monitor key HR metrics (e.g., hiring, attrition, capability gaps, training effectiveness).
  • Ensure that all relevant HR Policies, Procedures and Guidelines are implemented and followed and meet all legislative requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters and ensure people practices are compliant with local labor laws and regulations, supporting leaders in managing people issues effectively.
  • Act as a culture champion by driving employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and reinforcing DSV’s values, ethical standards, and commitment to a respectful workplace.
  • Implement and apply effective strategies to attract/recruit and retain qualified staff on all levels in co-operation with the leaders in the country division.
  • Drive and secure high quality and full adherence to the compensation & benefits process, including pension and insurance schemes in accordance with external labor market competitiveness as well as internal consistency
  • Support and secure training and development plans, succession planning, talent management and staff retention for all levels of employees in the country division in close cooperation with Global HR
  • Lead and contribute to local, regional, and global HR projects, partnering with regional/group HR teams to implement initiatives and share best practices

 

What We Need To See

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field
  • Good know-how in all the primary HR processes and concepts
  • Good communications skills to work with all level of employees
  • Strong conflict and change management skills
  • High degree of accountability, credibility and assertiveness
  • Ability to positively influence with integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility in a multicultural environment.
  • A solid team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, consistently delivering results and solving complex problems
  • Exceptional verbal and written fluency in both English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office
