For three DSV locations, each with a unique working environment, you will work on translating our global QHSE program into practical implementations at a regional level. Your focus will be on quality and safety management within our logistics environment. Safety first, check! Ensuring the highest quality standards, check! Raising awareness and training colleagues in the areas of quality, safety, and the environment: you’re on it.

 

How you do this? You will be the key figure in implementing our QHSE strategies. You will help build, improve, manage, and coordinate the quality management system according to ISO9001 and FSSC22000 at your cluster of DSV locations in ‘s-Heerenberg, Venray, and Haps. This will include overseeing compliance with these standards, conducting detailed risk assessments, and carrying out internal audits. You will also proactively propose improvement plans and advise managers regarding quality, safety, and the environment. You are part of the national QHSE team and will provide guidance to a QA Specialist and H&S Specialist. Together, your mission is to increase quality and safety awareness within our organization and ensure compliance with the highest possible standards. You achieve this by:
 

  • managing, coordinating, and improving work instructions, procedures, and quality processes;
  • conducting internal audits, risk inventories, and assessments;
  • translating national QHSE agreements into practical policies and solutions;
  • creating improvement plans and advising managers, taking an active role and initiatives;
  • contributing to the direction, growth, and development of your team members.

You bring

  • higher educational and thinking level, preferably with a background in safety management or a related field;
  • relevant work experience within the supply chain, logistics, or process organizations;
  • proficiency in Dutch (B1) and English, both spoken and written;
  • knowledge of occupational health and safety (Arbo) and environmental management, or a willingness to further develop in these areas.
