Senior Customer Services Representative

What will you be doing?
As Senior Customer Service Representative you coordinate activities within the assigned Customer Services team for one or more customers. You also carry out administrative and planning activities and act as a link between the customer and internal departments, so that the correct data and planning is available for the incoming and outgoing departments. Of course you always meet customer-specific agreements and wishes! 

The Customer Services department is an operational department within a site and is the first point of contact for the customers of the site, for orders, questions and complaints about their goods storage and/or transport. The department in Venray consists of 2 teams. Each team is managed by a Customer Services Supervisor and consists of 4 to 10 people. The Senior Customer Services Representative has a coordinating role within his/her team of Customer Services Representatives.


Your core tasks are, among others:

  • Act as the first operational point of contact/escalation point;
  • Processing data on the basis of order assignments from customer(s);
  • Spotting disruptions, informing the customer(s) and transporters of expected delays/changes; and 
  • delays/changes;
  • Taking care of the administration for the benefit of the invoicing, monthly delivery to the Finance department in cooperation with the manager;; and 
  • Finance department on a monthly basis in cooperation with the manager;
  • Supervising/training (new) employees.

  • Have completed an intermediate vocational education (preferably in logistics);
  • Have a healthy commercial attitude; 
  • You have pleasant manners; 
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. If you also have a command of a third European language, that would certainly be an advantage!
  • You are available for 40 hours a week.
