Move forward as Inside Sales Airfreight at DSV in Schiphol
A growing commercial airfreight team within healthcare logistics. Together with your colleagues, you proactively handle requests from existing customers and international colleagues, quickly process these into a tailor-made quotation, and maintain close contact with customers. That’s what you do!

 

You get it done
Every day, you are the customer-focused inside sales airfreight professional who proactively contacts customers in the Netherlands by telephone and email. As mentioned, you also maintain contact (in the same way) with your international colleagues who require airfreight rates. You process requests, prepared quotations and quotes in the internal system. You proactively pass on new leads to your colleagues in Outside Sales. You’re on it.

 

How do you do this? In this commercial role, it is important that you are enterprising, do not shy away from challenges, but above all have an interest in and knowledge of air freight. You are a professional discussion partner for your clients and colleagues. Your positive energy and excellent communication skills (in both Dutch and English) are highly valued. However, your knowledge and experience of airfreight and Incoterms is of the utmost importance. You achieve this by:
•    registration & follow-up of sales leads, quotes and offers;
•    maintaining contact with relations (existing customers);
•    seeking solutions in the field of global transport.

You bring

·    hbo level of working and thinking;
·    at least 5 years’ work experience in freight forwarding, preferably in the field of export airfreight;
·    experience of managing or supervising colleagues in an operational environment;
·    good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
