The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing, maintaining billing records, resolving billing issues, and supporting revenue recognition processes. The role works closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure billing accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
 
  • Prepare, validate, and process customer invoices based on approved rates, contracts, and operational documents.
  • Ensure invoices are issued accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Review billing transactions and identify discrepancies prior to invoice generation.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to validate billing data.
  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes, invoice queries, and customer concerns.
  • Monitor unbilled transactions and support revenue leakage prevention initiatives.
  • Maintain complete and accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare billing, revenue, and operational reports as required by management.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, controls, and efficiency.
