Tasks and responsibilities:

Workplace:

• Annotate and label logistics-related data including shipment records, delivery documents, route maps, images of packages or warehouses, sensor data, and other relevant datasets.
• Follow specific annotation guidelines designed for logistics use cases to ensure high-quality data for machine learning models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and logistics experts to refine annotation standards and improve AI system accuracy.
• Identify and flag inconsistencies or anomalies in logistics data to enhance model training quality.
• Maintain thorough documentation of annotation procedures and updates to project requirements.
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals within tight deadlines typical of fast-paced logistics environments.
• Stay updated on new annotation tools and logistics industry trends relevant to AI applications.
• Monitor process compliance in line with relevant legal provisions governing operational activities.
• With other organizational units, both domestically and internationally, to facilitate seamless Foster ongoing collaboration operations.
• Perform quality checks based on sampling provided by Senior Business Support Specialist, AI Data Annotator, AiDoc Annotation or Team Lead, ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and the formulation of preventive measures and action plans to address potential operational or business impacts effectively.
• Facilitates operational call discussions with country stakeholders in the absence of Senior Specialists or Team Leaders.
• Actively engages in testing new software tools as required by operational needs.
• Serves as the process expert with comprehensive knowledge of country-specific requirements.
• Conducts internal training sessions for new countries within the VT region, fostering team growth and development.
• Provides active support to new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
• Performance of any other official orders related to the tasks and objective position.

Evaluation criteria: 

• Demonstrate proactive engagement in the implementation of AI documentation projects, working closely and collaboratively with the AI Tribe (Data Science Team) to ensure successful delivery.
• Foster and maintain effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders across the DSV group—including GBS, country teams, and IT —to support seamless operations and alignment.
• Consistently meet or exceed the team scorecard standards by achieving an overall score of at least 95%, covering key performance areas such as Operational KPIs (Productivity, Utilization, Accuracy), Leadership KPIs, Special Focus Areas, and initiatives related to Optimization and Innovation.

Qualifications:

• Higher education or during the learning
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with annotation software/tools.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team.

Experience:

• Min. 6 months of work experience within Finance, Logistics and IT department is an advantage.
• Previous experience in data annotation or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills:

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or natural language processing concepts.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Working under time pressure and with minimum supervision
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Highly focused, detail oriented and well developed self-organizational skills

• Must be able to communicate well in English language at least level 2 (Low intermediate)
• Ability to use the tools, technology and methods in the field area of work enough to effectively improve the efficiency of services rendered
• Ability to use the particular methods of work (recommended by the globally recognized design methodologies - any of them), troubleshooting
• Innovation management, project management in order to increase efficiency and quality of the delivered service
• Effectively share knowledge and experience with other members of the team with the aim of raising the competence of colleagues
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) at advanced level, enabling e.g. .: sorting and filtering data, conditional formatting cells, the "freezing" of rows, columns, formatting cells, creating pivot tables / graphs, vertical search data , validate / consolidating and grouping data
• Ability to touch-typing is an advantage
