Group Legal, Tax and Trade Compliance consists of the 3 departments, Group Legal, Group Tax and Group Trade Compliance (GLTTC).

Globally the departments a represented by 200+ specialists in 37 countries. We strive to provide a commercial and risk-based approach towards our commercial stakeholders. The GLTTC puts transparency as a primary performance metric to ensure that the relevant stakeholders will always have the correct information to make decisions from. 

The position mentioned above concerns a role in Group Legal focusing on Trade Compliance. Although part of the Group organisation is in Denmark, the position is filled in Philippines.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Transaction and customer screening against various Sanction lists
  • Communicating effectively with Business Partners
  • Reviewing systems, available data and conducting investigations of high risk transactions
  • Working as part of the team to ensure the day-to-day activities are fulfilled
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of quality and competency
  • Updating records with relevant information in accurate and timely manner
  • Operating in line with relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.

 

Our requirements

  • An advanced knowledge of the English language, both in writing and speaking.
  • Work experience in the field of export controls and sanctions is an advantage. 
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with management and other internal parties
  • A strong sense of responsibility.
  • A process-oriented, organised, and structured way of working.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communicative skills, tactfulness, and diplomacy.
  • Good IT skills
  • A good team player
