MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • 100% compliance with the 17 Key Financial Control accounts set by the Group to local finance.
  • Timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports to Local, Regional and Group Management set in the Financial Calendar.
  • Timely completion of all local statutory reporting based on the deadline set by SEC and other pertinent government agencies.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the company’s over-all compliance with the Key Financial Control set by the Group:
    • Timely compliance with the month-end closing activities.
    • Reconciliation of intercompany balances with counterpart confirmation.
      • Review of balance sheet schedules prepared by Regional Shared Service Center and ensure existence and completeness of all balance sheet items.
    • Monitor timely reconciliation of SAP ERP or local ERP to SAP BPC.
    • Prepare monthly tax calculation and reconciliation.
    • Review and reconciliation of fixed asset register.
    • Reconcilation and financial understanding  of leasing accounting and ensure completeness of Planon.
    • Review and ensure timely completion of bank reconciliation reports.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly reports analysis and commentaries on variances, trends and key metrics.
  • Compliance with company’s Integrum Reporting on Legal Claims and Risks; Property and Sustainability Reporting.
  • Ensure company’s adherance to Financial Manual.
  • Support in the completion of the statutory audit.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)

 

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Accounting. 
  • With 1-2 years of relevant experience in Finance and meaninful experience in general accounting and reporting
  • Preferably with working experience in a multinational freight forwarder.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly strong in MS Excel
  • Experience in Cargowise system and SAP BPC is an advantage
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work with less supervision
  • Able to contribute inprocess improvement
  • Able to work in a diverse environment and cultures
  • Keen to details, results oriented and proactive
