IT Specialist, IT Service Intelligence

 

Join our Observability team and help build, automate, and evolve enterprise-wide monitoring and observability solutions.

 

As an Observability Engineer, you will enable reliable and scalable IT services by delivering monitoring, logging, alerting, and automation capabilities across cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop dashboards, alerts, and monitoring standards to improve operational visibility.
  • Automate platform deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
  • Support Kubernetes and cloud-native observability initiatives.
  • Provide actionable observability insights that enable proactive detection, performance analysis, and root cause investigation across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and platform teams to improve reliability and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvements and observability best practices across the organization.
  • Define and maintain observability standards, onboarding patterns, and engineering best practices to support enterprise-wide adoption.

 

Required Skills

  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automation.
  • Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of observability principles including metrics, logs, traces, service dependency mapping, and distributed tracing.
  • Experience integrating monitoring platforms with APIs, webhooks, and enterprise ITSM/Event Management solutions.

 

Nice to Have

  • Splunk Enterprise, Splunk ITSI, or Splunk Observability Cloud.
  • OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, or Elastic Stack.
  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience with observability platforms, ITSM integration, Event Management, and AIOps solutions, including event correlation.
