Overview of the Role

 

Performs DSV's Website Management using different modules within the CoreMedia system supporting all regions (APAC, MEA, EU, Americas) including the Global Head Office following the specified SLAs per cluster. 

Performs Marketing and Communications Senior role tasks supporting both process and administrative tasks across the team following the specified SLAs.

 

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

CMS (APAC, MEA, EU, Americas) including the Global Head Office

 

•    Maintain DB Schenker’s external websites through the use of CoreMedia.
•    Serve as an editor in all materials, making sure everything is in correct and understandable English.
•    Create and/or enhance existing pages. 
•    Create and distribute translation template file to countries
•    Analyze the requestors expectation and execute the task timely and accurately.
•    Help maintain the corporate language in the materials given before releasing it onto the website.
•    Perform minor edits or touch-ups on existing photos.
•    Daily Huddle board updates
•    Documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
•    Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality.
•    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
•    Participate actively in all required team meetings.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
•    Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, presenting findings, progress updates, and recommendations.
•    Responsible for creating/updating standard process manuals/other work documentation when required.
•    Identify challenges, assess risks, and implement solutions to overcome obstacles. Use critical thinking and analytical skills to address complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
•    Compliance with the work procedures & data privacy
•    Support on other ad hoc tasks such as monitoring, peer checking, reports and updating of databases.

 

Primary Qualifications:

•    Has strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of website content management systems (preferably CoreMedia).
•    Has good command of written English, with the ability to edit, proofread, and ensure language accuracy and consistency across web content.
•    Possesses excellent organizational and layout skills, ensuring web pages are visually aligned with brand and usability standards.
•    Is proactive, analytical, and capable of troubleshooting website or content issues efficiently.
•    Is adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, handling multiple content requests and deadlines simultaneously.
•    Displays enthusiasm to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, supporting them as needed, even beyond standard tasks or hours when required.

 

Secondary Qualifications

•    Prior experience in website management, digital content publishing, or web administration is an advantage.
•    Experience using content management systems, preferably CoreMedia or similar platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal).
•    Basic knowledge of image editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or GIMP.
•    Familiarity with web best practices, including SEO, accessibility, and content formatting standards.
•    Experience in coordinating with cross-functional or global teams for content updates is a plus.
•    Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is an advantage.
