Purpose of the role

The Business Services Manager establishes critical relationships with Business stakeholders in order to understand and address existing and/or emerging challenges and opportunities. This role will provide specialist advice and solutions to support the overall success of the business through digital enablement.

Key Tasks

  • Development, maintenance and support of local/regional applications
  • Application lifecycle management (support, bug fixing, enhancements)
  • Service ownership of all regional and local applications for Air & Sea and Contract Logistics
  • Business Consultancy and advice on digital enablement
  • Business relationship management – interpret strategic objectives and execute as required
  • Collaborate with leaders both inside and outside the organization to ensure delivery of meaningful results from strategic initiatives
  • Manage/oversee IT Projects to ensure they are executed within scope

Selection Criteria

  • 15 + years of relevant functional experience
  • Relevant IT/Business related domain & qualifications
  • Highly developed ability and proven experience in interpreting strategic IT related initiatives and aligning to business/commercial objectives
  • Advanced conflict resolution, influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to identify root causes of issues and gaps and provide relevant solutions.

Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, ensuring they are well-supported and equipped to meet their performance goals while fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
