JOB OVERVIEW

Full responsibility for the credit management and accounts payable functions and related matters in the finance shared services. He will be managing a team of associates in providing services to countries in APAC and to ensure quality and timely delivery of tasks as in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). He is also carrying a task to drive standardization and transformation, determine how to fulfill customer requirements, and ensure that the end-to-end process delivers on its goals of transformation and finance business process optimization.

 

KEY TASKS

Credit Management

  • Monitoring to ensure the daily credit application request from business team on timely manner.
  • Organize the credit review activity regularly.
  • Prepare reports and management reports.
  • Make sure the month end close activities completed in timely manner
  • Prepare reports and management reports.
  • Participate in any daily activity when required due to urgency and issue.
  • Support all process improvement processes from time to time.
  • Provide guideline and resolution to team members

 

Accounts Payable

  • To lead & monitor the Payable team
  • To manage the task performing by Finance Assistant
  • To involve in the process improvements and projects
  • The AP Accountant is the key support contact for the center and local in term of supporting the accounts payable
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchases, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Working closely with others team to ensure all vendors and employees payables are being verified and correctly recorded in the books
  • Working closely with others team to ensure vendors are paid promptly as per the terms
  • Responding to vendor enquiries regarding the accounts payable
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

 

Standardization and Process Improvements

  • Work closely with the stakeholders to implement or drive for standardization of processes across countries support by this center
  • Drive for commonality and simplify processes in line with Company’s policies and guidelines
  • Leading and coordinate all jobs migration from the country to SSC according the plan schedules.
  • Achieve cost-efficient and eliminate redundancy through the center

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven people management and leadership skills (Recruitment/Selection/Training & Development/Coaching/Conflict Management/Performance Management).
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to prepare and work with reports.
  • Cost optimization oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure (tight deadlines).
  • Familiarity with entrepreneurial and strategic matters.
  • High degree of accountability, credibility, and assertiveness.
  • Organizational skills (prioritization, planning, assignment, and control).
  • Ability to work with different cultures and manage cross-functional interfaces.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related disciplines, or a professional degree.
  • 15-17 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Management experience of at least 10 years.
  • Experience in handling regional functions.
