Job Scope:

Statutory Audit Support

  • Work on the yearly local statutory audit requirement with the appointed external auditors.
  • Support group audit (If need arises).
  • Coordinating the audit and work closely with the team to ensure all audits are completed as per stipulate schedules by the group.
  • Preparing all the audit schedules and supporting documents for the audit as requested by external auditor.

Tax Compliance Support

  • To support bi-monthly SST, quarterly GST and monthly WHT compilation and submission to the tax authority (Excluded country with complex tax regulations).
  • To handle and coordinate with the appointed tax agents to ensure yearly corporate income tax submissions are filed according to the countries filing dates (Excluded country with complex tax regulations).
  • Monthly tax provision computation and to support group tax tool and deferred tax.
  • To support in providing information to the group on local transfer pricing documentation.

General

  • Assure to full support the supervisor and manage the stakeholders.
  • Consistently providing training and knowledge to the team members
  • Work closely with the management of the center in providing career growth and development opportunities to the team.
  • Develop an employer brand for the center that reflects the culture of the Company.

 

Experience & Education:

  • Basic knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
  • Good understanding of processes and SSC concepts
  • High controlling minded and with the drive to proactively challenge and improve the ‘status quo’ of Corporate Standards
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant
  • Audit experience of at least 2 or 3 years
  • Deep understanding of financial and cost accounting
