DSV is looking for a dynamic leader who has mastered the art of motivation and team building. The respective candidate must have solid working operational knowledge of the Air import and export and Ocean import and export processes, handling hazardous materials, high value cargo, small sort receiving, pick-pack, PMC build-up and Envirotainer services.


Duties and Responsibilities
•    The respective candidate will have budgetary responsibilities working with all the Air & Sea Managers to ensure costs are allocated and or posted accurately, balancing revenue to expenses and driving efficiencies to make service commitments and budget. Those    include payroll, MHE expenses, warehouse and overhead, supplies and other miscellaneous charges assigned to the operation
•    Manage, supervise, mentor, and coordinate the operations and staffing teams, guiding their daily activities of materials movement of the handling, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
•    The manager will provide oversight reviewing shipping or receiving orders, requests for movement of materials and products, posting work schedules and work assignments utilizing the Management, Supervisory and team leads teams. 
•    This person will collaborate with the K9 teams to ensure scheduling supports peak volumes to meet shipping deadlines. Manage the OS&D salvage of damaged or used material program. Ensures accurate and timely follow-up is made with all customers to promote quick resolution. Manage the physical condition of warehouse and equipment, ensure work orders for repairs, and requisitions for replacement of equipment are managed timely by the team.


Educational background / Work experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Language skills
•    English (reading, writing and verbal)


Computer Literacy
•    Computer skills, including frequent prior use of MS Outlook, Excel and Word.  Advanced Excel skills are preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear.  The employee uses computer and telephone equipment.  The vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
