Job-related Requirements:

Minimum of  5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding in a similar role

Must have knowledge on INCO terms

Must have at least 3 years financial experience in both Vendors and Debtors

At least 1 year invoicing experience within the Freight Forwarding environment

At least 2 years’ experience on Estimates.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Responsible for Pre-Costing’s and weekly balancing of the Purchase orders & debtors ageing of key accounts

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Pre-Costings key accounts in line with RFQ.

Capturing PO numbers against shipments in CW1.

Monitoring DSV invoice vs.  delivery date of shipment.

Weekly balance report for key accounts for purchase orders and monitoring thereof

Weekly reconciliation of key accounts to ensure all documents have been emailed to Shared Services with the correct purchase order to ensure timely payment from the client.

Managing the Quarterly ROE with key client

Amending ROE for key client

Calculating the quarterly key client Rebates.

Identifying Revenue leakage by means of daily Job Profit review.

Acting as Back-up Controller on the key account.

Insurance claims for Air & Sea PLZ

Web queries for Air & Sea PLZ

Wakeo Exception reporting for key client

General admin duties related to this position

Assisting the Manager with any other duties that may be required
