​​Air Key Account Operator – Air Freight ​ 

Purfleet, Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

Main Purpose of the role

DSV is recruiting for a Air Key Account Operator to provide an efficient and proactive service to all key account customers, overseas and related service providers. You will be dealing with all aspects of export operation as well as managing customer expectations and continuous improvements​.

What will you be doing?

• Receive export bookings from our customers and process bookings in line with KPI requirements and meeting customers’ expectations  
• Follow procedures and time frames with pre agreed workflows
• Full understanding of operational requirements relating to Ocean Export Bookings. 
• Communicate with internal/external customers to ensure they are kept up to date in all stages and build relationships by providing excellent customer service.
• Manage and review costs of shipments, ensuring process’s are completed

About You

• ​​​Good understanding within the airfreight industry  
• Strong Customer Service skills are essential 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meetings deadlines 
• Ability to make considered and consistent decisions 
• Fast and accurate data entry​
