Distribution Planner
Purfleet
Hours: 13:00-22:00 (30 mins break)

We are looking to recruit an experienced and proficient Local Distribution Planner to work within our busy Purfleet Operation. You will be routing planning 30-40 multi drop vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Company committed to providing quality, innovative value, and logistics services. The successful candidate must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. 

What will you be doing?

•    Responsible for the route allocating of 30-40 multi drop vehicles
•    Working closely with the 3rd party transport provider, you will plan and allocate deliveries and collectIons.  
•    Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external Customers, Drivers, Suppliers, and other DSV Hubs. 
•    Any reports/KPI's required.   
•    Producing a month end financial and service result.   
•    Working  with internal colleagues to provide the best service possible.  
•    Liaising with and maintaining an excellent working relationship with inhouse 3rd party transport provider.  
•    Following and enforcing all company policies and procedures.   

 About You

•    Previous experience in a similar role
•    An excellent understanding of Domestic HGV driving legislation and load capacites
•    Excellent geographical knowledge
•    Effective communication skills
