Customs Supervisor

Move forward as Customs Supervisor at DSV in Machelen or Puurs.

About the role:

As a Customs Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing operational teams across Puurs and Machelen. You will do this specifically for exports & imports of our various divisions (Road, Air & Sea & Solutions)

Duties:

• You are a real people manager, managing and supervising the department is extremely important;
• You investigate the possible risks;
• You ensure optimization of the department and think along with the development of future strategies;
• You have contact with customs, AEO and are responsible for audits;
• You are also involved in the projects that are planned;
• You are in close contact with the management of the various divisions and ensure proper communication and reporting.

Are you the perfect match?

• You have knowledge and experience in customs & customs documents in the different transport modes;
• You have several years of experience as customs supervisor;
• You have knowledge of NL & ENG, FR is a plus;
• You have a good and professional communication style, you are honest & straightforward;
• You are willing to drive to all sites on a regular basis (Puurs and Machelen).
