Strive to optimise the efficiency of available resources (drivers, trucks and capacity), taking into account priorities and constraints, such that the customer and employer are satisfied.

Tasks

• Collection of data on transport orders;
• Entry of transport orders in the proprietary system;
• Planning of trips;
• Outsourcing transport assignments to subcontractors;
• Confirming orders to the client;
• Assigning transport assignments to drivers according to priorities and available resources;
• Follow-up of assignments, both during and after execution;
• Completing the necessary documents to enable the execution of the trip planning.

You bring

• Minimum a first experience in a Freight Forwarding role within Road transportation;
• You can speak and write fluently in Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of proprietary operational procedures and Transport Management System.
