Operations Analyst
SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst will provide support to the Operations team, in the form of reporting and analysis and helping to create visibility to day-to-day success and opportunities of the site. The Operations Analyst will be gathering and maintaining data, making recommendations, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions. This position will work closely with the General Manager and Operations team to support the business.
This position requires attention to detail, analytical abilities, a creative mind to invent solutions to improve quality and internal process related to information sharing, data analysis, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare daily Open Order Report
- Perform analytics on Cancel Dates, Order Status and other decision-based factors
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing performance metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support driving key business decisions
- Prepare Daily Dashboard
- Prepare various labor utilization reports from Time and Attendance System
- Produce various Inbound container status reports
- Produce metrics reports for the site
- Maintain accurate data to produce quality reports
- Support site in Quality processes and functions
- Work closely with Management on important issues and projects
- Review reports and recommend productivity and efficiency improvements
- Assess and document existing business procedures. Develop recommendations for new methods / procedures, implementation plans, schedules and written reports for management to evaluate.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Work closely with business leaders to analyze and document and implement best practice, consistent,
- Uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our operational decisions

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in Warehouse or Distribution Operations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
- N/A
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Effective communication skills and professional writing skills.
- Advanced skill in MS Office primarily Word and PowerPoint and Excel (including Excel pivot tables and formulas).
- Self-Starter
- Detail oriented, can produce quality output
