DSV are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator at Raunds, Puma contract.

Key requirements 

• Meet customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company. 

• Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions. 

• Liaise with other DSV/Agents offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements 

• Prepare correct documentation to the operation and transport companies for the loading and offloading of vehicles 

• General Administrative duties 

• Liaising with the warehouse to ensure all picking / packing requirements are met 

• To ensure all compliance is followed and met through each process 

Skills & Competencies 

• Good communication skills 

• Good organization skills and effective time management 

• Commercial awareness 

• Attention to detail 

• IT Literate in Microsoft Office – Outlook and Excel especially 

• Problem solving 

• Ideally 2-3 years recent relevant industry experience in a similar role 

• Professional and resilient 

• Responsible and decisive
