Working context
To provide UK sites with CargoWrite/Red Prairie Training at Basic & Plus level.
To assist the Training Manager with Lean Thinking programmes, Day Start Training, Pack Tool and E-Visibility training in addition to any additional administrative duties as required.
To provide Monthly Business reviews across all sites of system activity.

Primary purpose of the role
To provide training to increase knowledge levels of the WMS application across the UK.
To assist the Training Manager with Lean Thinking programmes, Day Start Training courses, Pack Tool, E-Visibility and any other administrative duties as required.
To provide Monthly Business reviews across all sites of system activity.
To work on Projects such as new Client Implementations and Migrations and provide accurate systemic work Instructions.
Go-Live Support for all new Client Implementations. |
Key accountability areas

Training – Migrations & New Client Implementations. To provide UK sites with Basic & Plus training courses as appropriate. To deliver training modules as directed by Global BCM for all course material. To evaluate learning incorporating testing to ascertain knowledge levels, analyse aptitude towards learning and nominate individuals for further training to the Training Manager. |

Six Sigma - Lean Thinking Training – To assist in Lean Thinking training as required across UK sites. To understand Lean/Six Sigma processes to further support new processes and procedures for operational users. |

Administration – Liaison across all sites to advise of training courses and results. Course material preparation, bespoke documentation and any other training documentation as required. Timely production of training data for inclusion into quarterly stats. |

E-Learning – Assisting in the development and inclusion of e-learning tools. |

Study – The Training Specialist will need to study to ensure that knowledge levels are to the required standard in conjunction with Global BCM guidelines. This includes but is not restricted to Key User Training, Engineer Training and Train the Trainer training. All qualifications achieved will be re-tested on a bi-annual basis. |

Identify areas of continuous improvement and make recommendations to the Training Manager. |

- Ensure a good standard of housekeeping through observance of relevant Company policies and ensure that work areas are secure and locked when unoccupied.
- Where appropriate challenge and determine reasons for presence on site of any unauthorised person.
- Attend any development training as required in compliance with the Company’s commitment to the Investors In People standard.
