For our Oil & Gas division in Rotterdam Waalhaven, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing pricing strategies for various projects and standard freight units (air and sea freight). As part of a young and driven team with an international dynamic, you will work alongside your colleague to secure the best deals for your client portfolio and you play a crucial role in achieving this.
How you do this? Clients see you as a strong relationship builder with an eye for commercial opportunities. Your portfolio is diverse and each client comes with specific needs and requirements. Your challenge? To negotiate and apply the best pricing strategy tailored to each client. This is what drives you! With a clear understanding of your clients’ needs, you are able to collaborate effectively with carriers and suppliers to find the best match in terms of transport and pricing. You achieve this by:
- managing inside sales, ensuring that your diverse client portfolio benefits from the most competitive pricing strategy that meets their needs;
- maintaining and strengthening relationships with carriers, suppliers and other stakeholders;
- analyzing cost prices and negotiating the best rates and most favorable contracts;
- monitoring service delivery and addressing any issues that may affect pricing and service quality.

You bring
- MBO4 level of education and thinking;
- work experience focused on pricing within logistics, breakbulk, or the oil and gas industry;
- a certificate of no objection (VGB) is required for this role;
- strong numerical skills and a results-driven mindset.
