You get it done
As a pricing analyst, you will work daily with freight rates, quotations, and customer inquiries. You will collaborate closely with shipping lines, the Sales team, and customers to ensure every quotation meets the customer's requirements while supporting the company's commercial objectives: You’re on it.

How you do this? By building long-term customer relationships and translating customer requests into competitive, tailored quotations. You analyze freight rates, negotiate with shipping lines and carriers, and monitor market developments to achieve the best balance between price and service. Experience as a freight forwarder, export coordinator, or in a similar logistics role provides an excellent foundation for this position. With your commercial mindset, strong communication skills, and customer-focused approach, you'll turn every inquiry into a successful opportunity. You achieve this by:

• managing and preparing new quotation requests for LCL, FCL, reefer, and dangerous goods shipments;
• preparing competitive quotations by requesting, comparing, and negotiating rates with shipping lines, agents, and other logistics partners;
• proactively following up on outstanding quotations and maintaining close contact with customers to successfully convert opportunities into business;
• processing and maintaining quotations and customer information in CargoWise, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date;
• handing over accepted quotations to the Forwarding team, ensuring a smooth transition to the operational execution phase.

You bring

• you are eager, proactive, and bring an energetic approach to your work;

• You have a good command of both Dutch (B1 level) and English, spoken and written.
